COAL_cNVC_People_and_PropertyPrimary data contact: Brian Keating (USFS R2 Assistant Director) [email protected] This dataset was developed for the USFS Rocky Mountain Region by Pyrologix LLC (www.pyrologix.com).This dataset is a 30-m cell size representation of wildfire risk to one or more Highly Valued Resources or Assets (HVRA). This data layer is part of a set of wildfire risk results developed for the Colorado All-Lands Quantitative Wildfire Risk Assessment (COAL), produced by integrating HVRA spatial data, response functions characterizing susceptibility to wildfire, and 30-m fire-effects flame-length probabilities from the WildEST wildfire fire behavior results. Results with “_cNVC” do not include burn probability and represent “conditional” effects of wildfire on HVRA. Those with “_eNVC” are multiplied by burn probability and consider the likelihood of wildfire, or “expected” wildfire risk.
